1. Who We Are

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the personal data you provide to us directly (in applications, in forms, in correspondence), and a limited set of operational data when you visit our website (server logs, cookies necessary to deliver the site, and an aggregated analytics cookie that we anonymise within 30 days).

3. Why We Process It

To process applications and administer admissions
To deliver our academic programmes to enrolled students
To fulfil our obligations as an employer of staff
To communicate with prospective students who have requested information
To meet our legal obligations to the Greek state and the European Union

4. Lawful Bases

We rely on (a) contract — to provide our services to applicants, students and staff; (b) legal obligation — to comply with Greek and EU regulation; (c) legitimate interest — to operate the institution efficiently; and (d) consent — for optional marketing communications and non-essential cookies.

5. How Long We Keep It

Application files of unsuccessful applicants are deleted within 18 months. Student records are kept for the standard statutory periods that apply to higher education in Greece. Employment records are kept for 10 years post-departure. Marketing-consent records are kept until withdrawn.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, port, restrict, object to the processing of, and (in the relevant circumstances) erase your personal data. Email dpo@eea.edu.gr to exercise any of these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA / ΑΠΔΠΧ).

7. Cookies

This website uses one strictly-necessary cookie (session preference and language) and one anonymised analytics cookie. We do not run advertising trackers. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings without losing site functionality.

8. International Transfers

Personal data is stored on servers located within the European Economic Area. Where a service provider is located outside the EEA, transfers occur only under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).

9. Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be notified to enrolled students and staff via the portals, and to wider visitors via this page.
