The EEA Alumni Network

A network in formation — and one we will build together.

An Alumni Network on Day One

EEA is six months old. Our first cohort will not graduate until 2029. And yet — somewhat unusually for a new institution — EEA already has an alumni network of more than 240 members.

This is because, in 2024, EEA's founders launched a parallel programme called the Founders' Alumni Programme — open to graduates of any Greek or diaspora engineering institution who actively supported the establishment of EEA, by donating, mentoring, lecturing, or serving on a working group. Members of this network — engineers from NTUA, AUTh, EMP, Demokritos, but also from Imperial, MIT, ETH and TU Delft — form the seed of what will become a much wider EEA alumni community in the years ahead.

What the Alumni Network Does

  • Co-ordinates the EEA mentorship programme, pairing alumni mentors with current undergraduates
  • Hosts the annual Alumni Symposium (next: 5–6 September 2026, on the Peania campus)
  • Manages the alumni fund, which supports student scholarships and the Daedalus Society
  • Maintains the EEA Engineering Speakers' Bureau — alumni who guest-lecture for EEA students
  • Operates regional chapters in Athens, Thessaloniki, London and New York

The Founders' Alumni Programme is currently closed to new members; the wider EEA Alumni Network will open with our first graduating cohort in 2029. If you are an alumnus of another institution and wish to support EEA, please contact the Office of Development at development@eea.edu.gr.
