Tuition may be paid in two equal instalments (October and February). EEA participates in the Hellenic Education Loan Programme operated by the National Bank of Greece, which offers loans up to €15,000/year with deferred repayment.
EEA welcomes applications from students worldwide. We host a dedicated International Student Office that supports admitted students with visas, residence permits, accommodation, and onboarding.
Non-EU applicants offered a place will receive a formal letter of acceptance which can be presented to a Greek consular post for a national (D) student visa. Upon arrival in Greece, students apply for a residence permit for study (valid for the full duration of the programme) at the Aliens & Immigration Directorate of Attica.
Until our on-campus residence opens (autumn 2027), the Office partners with three serviced student-housing operators in Peania, Paiania, Glyka Nera and Spata — all within a 10-minute commute of the campus. Estimated cost: €380 – €650 / month including utilities.
Yes. EEA delivers degree programmes under formal academic affiliation with established European universities. The degree certificate is issued by the partner university and is fully recognised within Greece via DOATAP and across the European Higher Education Area under the Bologna framework.
No. All engineering programmes are delivered in English. We do offer free Greek-language classes (A1 through B2 levels) to all international students because life in Peania is much easier with some Greek, and many internships in Greek industry will benefit from it.
Yes. Transfer applications are reviewed individually by the receiving department. Up to 60 ECTS may be transferred for an undergraduate programme; the final two years must be completed at EEA.
No. EEA uses holistic admission. We assess academic record, essays and a 30-minute online conversation with a faculty reader.
Decisions are released within three weeks of a complete application file (including the interview). The latest decision date for the early-decision round is 21 July 2026.
Waitlisted candidates remain in consideration until 5 September 2026. Most movement off the waitlist happens between 25 July and 20 August, after offer-holders confirm their places.
